For the cognoscenti in Toronto, the public art commission awarded to Jaan Poldaas that Robert Birch referred to in the video, is located in the original TD Tower in downtown Toronto that is part of the Toronto Dominion Centre. Owned and operated by Fairview Cadillac it was created by architect and furniture designer Mies van der Rohe in the early 1960's. Currently four giant panels by Jaan Poldaas hang in the lobby. The plaque below the paintings identifies the quartet, "Passages as Endpoints and Pauses. Each panel is 108 X 108 inches. The artist is Jaan Aaare Poldaas, Canadian, born in Sweden, 1948.
Thank you Tauno and Margus09 May 2023 18:48
Thank you for this incredible and inspiring work. I hope that this is only the beginning for important work introducing incredible Estonians and people of Estonian heritage to Estonians and non-Estonians all over the world. You could develop a
series highlighting people with Estonian roots who have contributed in major ways to their field of work.
There are many more such hidden people out there who did not need to associate themselves with our Estonian community. They had more important things to do with their work.
There was usually no disrespect for our local community. They simply chose their priorities and I am glad that they did.
Thank you once again for taking the time and bringing to life the work of Jaan Põldaas. Good luck on your future work and looking forward to seeing and learning more from you both!

33 Issanda kartus on tarkuse kool,
aga enne au on alandus.
