JK Jazz Festival coming soon.

Our readers may have seen articles and ads for the upcoming fund-raiser, “Jõekääru Jazz Festival 2007”, in recent editions of our Estonian paper. We were fortunate to catch up with festival organizer Allan Liik and his key team members earlier this week. Look for our interview in next week’s Estonian Life.

In the meantime, please note that “JK Jazz 2007” takes place on Sat. Aug. 25 and Sun. Aug. 26 on the grounds of the Jõekääru Children’s Camp in Udora, ON. Early-bird tickets for adults are $20 for the entire festival ($25 at the gate) and children’s tickets are $10, available at the gate. Get your tickets early; on sale at estore in Toronto’s Estonian House, Tartu College, Jõekääru Summer Camp and at the Udora General Store.
