Next chance to work, sauna and socialize on June 20, 21
On June 6, over 60 people came to help out at Jõekääru talgud to improve the grounds for camp that starts on July 12 this year and the day ended with satisfied smiles on each of their faces. Plus some 15 kids who sometimes helped hammer and weed, but mostly had the time of their lives riding in the trailer of one of the tractors supplying the many worksites with materials and hauling away burnables.
The work was well organized thanks to the prep work and supervision of Eerik Valter, and to equipment and spare supplies brought along by the “talgulised” (volunteer labourers). The photos are of one project, rebuilding the shaded sandbox by the small kids’ cabin – mission accomplished !
Come out on June 20, 21, spend the night in the cabins, enjoy saun, delicious meals and the excellent company of others just like you. There’s plenty of work – bring your toolbox!
