EstoPalooza
It will be fun for the whole family. By day we'll provide rides, volleyball tournament, swimming, hiking & a fun fair for the kids & all week-end, we'll open a massive 60' x 120' tent at the spordivaljak next to the laste karneval. It will contain the main stage that will allow Estopalooza bands from Estonia and Canada to proceed rain or shine.

Bands will be playing from Friday through Sunday.

The tent will be fully stocked with cold drinks and among other things, BBQ with oktoberfest sausauge on a bun with sauerkraut. Cold Sleeman beer will be on tap for $3.00 a pint or $5.00 for 2!

The rESTOraan will re-open, featuring first class fare at affordable prices in an ambience that is incomparable. BBQ'd hot dogs and hamburgers to-go will also be available .

The Veterans' Remembrance Ceremony will proceed during the Opening Ceremonies

Artisan- tables will be set up to sell arts/crafts, t-shirts, mugs, CDs, jewelry, etc. (if you are interested in setting up a table let us know)

Children are sure to be thrilled with Karneval. Tiger Bouncer and a multi-play bouncer called Extraveganza that is 90' long are bone fide crowd pleasers. We will also have cotton candy and snow cones. All rides are free this year with admission and kids under 16 are free.

Volleyball tournaments will abound at our regulation size beach volleyball court next to the sandy bottomed spring-fed pool.

Johnny-on-the-Spots will be rented & we're looking into getting coach transport for a cheap ride from Toronto-Seedrioru!

This is a full weekend event.

All proceeds go to Seedrioru Children's Summer Camp ~ August 1-21, 2004

Special thanks to the National Estonian Foundation of Canada (Eesti Sihtkapital Kanadas)

Admission Friday-Sunday:
Free for kids under 16
$30 for adults

For more band and event information visit: www.seedrioru.com

It should be noted that because the refreshment tent will be an LLBO licensed event, there will be an enhanced security presence to ensure that NO GLASS BOTTLES arrive on site & that the week-end's DUI's are unrelated to Suvihari. Photo identification will be checked at the gate to allow purchase of alcoholic refreshments on-site.

Hey there

The Internet is a wonderful thing where picayune issues can be explored at length. Take for example, the little %@!#$& about bilingualism as prompted by Seedrioru's Suvihari. It seems that Estonians in Estonia take issue with the bona fides of 2nd generation Estonians living elsewhere. Of all things, some väliseestlased respond earnestly & in kind. The discussion is illuminating but does not entertain the notion that we are all citizens of planet earth.

Cheers
