It's easy to overlook the strains on a lot of choirs that find the audition level too high. Indeed, the issue has caused a lot of stress here in Estonia. Let's face it-you have not had a commission over there to check out the level of singing, but if you did, there would be reason to either be upsed with their findings, or be overjoyed. The fact that you can be overjoyed without the stress and psychological pain that other Estonian choirs have had to witness is not something to boast about, but to take as a humble privilege, in the same way that Russian choirs are being assisted to attend this important festival.
