There is interest in the Ottawa area of forming an adult Baltic choir combining voices from our three local Baltic communities. Under the music direction of Loretta Cassidy, the first meeting/rehearsal will be held on Thursday, October 12, 7 p.m., Peace Latvian Lutheran Church (corner of Lees and Main.) Who should consider attending:

1. if you have some musical ability – can sight read music, have sung in a choir before, or have an ear for music;
2. are interested in singing in Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian;
3. especially if you are in your 20’s to 30’s and up to early 50’s.
4. can commit to a weekly two-hour rehearsal (most likely Mondays).
