New debit cards with Interac Flash® are on their way. This new technology is a fast, secure and convenient way to pay for your small transactions.
What is Interac Flash®? It's Canada's first contactless debit solution. It allows you to pay for everyday purchases quickly and securely by simply holding your debit card in front of the reader at a checkout.
If you currently have an active debit card with ECU, a new one will be mailed straight to you - it’s that simple. Your current card will expire as of July 31st, 2018. If you haven't received your card by the end of June, and are planning on travelling outside of Canada throughout the summer, come by the branch and we will issue you a new one.
New Interac Flash® cards will be available in branch shortly. Check our website for updates.
What else is coming? We will be launching a new website and mobile banking app this summer, plus new credit cards. Stay tuned for more details.
