There is more knowledge in Finland now about the prison camp system of the Soviet Union, because the small Silberfeldt publishing house has published a new edition of The Gulag Archipelago by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. The edition is 3,000 copies*.
At a seminar marking the publication, author and publisher Sofi Oksanen along with a few other figures familiar with the Soviet Union and Russia pondered the significance of the event for Finns. They also discussed whether or not there have been any moves in Russia to deal with the wrongs of the past.
