Orav Travel Inc. has been serving our customers from our North York location for the past 12 years under the names Goliger’s Travel and later Goliger’s Travel Plus. After careful review of the changing market for travel we have decided to adopt a more distinctive independent identity. While we have always operated a full service agency, selling a complete line of travel products to all destinations, we have developed a particular expertise in selling Northern Europe. Our counsellors all have unique expertise in selling this region.

On January 01, 2003 we will begin operating under the name BDT WorldTravel. We have chosen this name with care as it reflect two significant aspects of our business. First it provides a connection to our long established wholesale division Baltic Design Tours through which we sell a wide range of tours, hotels, car rental, and flights centred in Scandinavia, Finland, the Baltic countries, Russia, Poland, and Iceland. Secondly it reflects our capability to sell you the world, be it vacations in the Caribbean, business trips to Asia, or a visit to friends across Canada. Under our new identity we will continue affiliation with a major travel consortium to insure that our travellers will have access to the best deals for all travel destinations.

We have continued our aim to serve our customers in a wide range of languages. Within our office we can serve you in English, Finnish, Estonian, Latvian, Russian, and Polish. We will continue our strong partnership with Finnair as well as other airlines serving northern Europe. This will insure that our clients will always have the best travel deal to the destination of their choice.

To introduce our new look as BDT WorldTravel, we are asking all our friends and customers to join us for an "Open House". This will take place at our offices in the retail concourse of the North American Centre, 5650 Yonge Street, on Thursday January 23 from 6 to 8 PM. We will provide light refreshments and we will have on display a photo exhibition of the Baltic. For this purpose we are inviting all who wish, to submit their favourite photo taken in any of the countries surrounding the Baltic Sea. A entry fee of $3 will be requested for each submission and awards will be provided for the three best submissions. Full details are available by calling our office at 416 221 3113.
