As many readers have already noticed, Estonian Life web edition
www.eesti.ca has been updated with some exiting new features. English and Estonian sections have been separated to give more clout to the English language news items. All English language articles used to be available together under one section which was published among Estonian sections.
Local visitors to Estonian Life can broadly be divided into three groups: older readers who mostly prefer articles in Estonian, a younger crowd who prefers audio visual content and articles in English, and fully bilingual readers who read stories in both languages without language preference.
To jump between English and Estonian content, click on the appropriate link in the top right corner of the web page.
The newly designed front page features two articles in Estonian and two in English, along with the most popular items in past seven days and the latest reader submitted commentary.
It is also possible now to send tweets or share articles and community events on Twitter and Facebook by using appropriate links under the article title.
