Unfortunately the public park in this scheme will be spending most of it time in the shadow, even more so when the 35+ storey student residence gets built across the street. Great from students not so great for parents with kids or the estonian square.
What happened to the name "community"? Why is it an art centre?
The back side shows 3-4 storeys, but at the presentation it was discussed that this maybe a future possibility because the City will not allow this right now. Why are we being asked to VOTE on images...with no detailed project construction costs and approved City architectural plans etc.. It's like asking me to approve the purchase of a car: you show me alot of fancy images but at the end, tell me nothing about what I am really buying. Really!

Kudos to Kongats, beautiful design, welcoming and community focused. This would have been a wonderful design for a warmer climate. Just curious, there is a heck of a lot of glass, wouldn’t heating costs go through the roof, especially in winter? Or are there new-fangled technologies for that?
