TORONTO, Dec. 31 /CNW/ - I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I hope you are enjoying this holiday season and the time spent with family and friends.
2003 was a year of challenge, change and success for Ontario.
Ontarians met the challenges posed by a blackout and SARS, working together to help each other.
The people chose change on October 2nd, and I want to thank you for that trust.
And Ontario continues to succeed. Whatever challenges we face in the days ahead, we have much to be thankful for: a strong economy, a vibrant and diverse society, the best province in the best country in the world.
It's a time of positive change across the province and the country, and there's a new spirit of cooperation and optimism. There's much to look forward to in the new year.
On behalf of our government, and from Terri and I and our family to yours, have a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
New Year's greeting from Premier Dalton McGuinty CNW
