Näitusel on väljas vahapigmendi ja grafiidijoonistused.
Jaanika Peerna on New Yorgi lähistel elav eesti kunstnik, kes oma joonistustes, videotes ja valgusinstallatsioonides tegeleb õhu, vee, valguse ja muude looduselementide muutumise teemaga.

7 PM live drawing and dance performance with dancer Jane Thornquist.Jaanika Peerna is an Estonian born artist living and working in New York since 1998. Her work encompasses drawings, videos and light installations often dealing with the theme of transitions in light, air, water and other natural phenomena.
This exhibition, entitled "Wind and Light", features drawings that are wax pigment and graphite on mylar.

Uno Habakukk : Sündisin 1960. aasta paastukuu 27. päeval Ida-Virumaal Iisaku vallas Sõrumäe külas. Kogu mu lapsepõlv möödus maal maalapse mõnusid nautides ning rasket maatööd tehes. New Yorgis elades liitusin siinse meeskoori ridadega. Samas tekkis suur isu õliga maalima hakata. See tahtmine sündis suurest üksindusest. Maalides elan oma mälestustes – mõtlen ainult head. Kahjuks igasugune kunstiharidus puudub. Meeldib maalida lihtsaid asju, millest kõik, isegi lapsed, aru saaksid ja minu maale vaadates rõõmu tunneksid.

Uno Habakukk was born in East-Virumaa, Estonia, and spent his childhood enoying all the blessings and burdens of a country life. After moving to New York City, Uno joined the NY Estonian Male Choir and started painting in oil – out of loneliness, he says. He has never had any formal art training and he loves to paint simple things that everybody can enjoy.

Tallinnas Uue Maailma linnaosas tegutseb grupp noori, keda mõned peavad lärmakateks rahurikkujateks, mõned süüdimatuks hipikambaks, kolmandad kangelasteks. Nad alustasid kui anarhistlikud linnageriljad, kes võtsid enda missiooniks nii seaduslike kui ka ebaseaduslike aktsioonidega võidelda puhtama ja autovabama elukeskkonna eest, valmistades sellega politseile ja valvsatele linnakodanikele peavalu. Aga ühel päeval tuli tunnustus, tähelepanu ja rahastus. Need, kes enne panid meie peategelasi seletuskirja kirjutama, patsutasid nüüd tunnustavalt õlale.

How to create an urban living space? How to change the world/your neighborhood? How to make the revolution? This film is about the New World Society, a citizens’ initiative in Tallinn, Estonia. The New World is an observational documentary. It follows the main characters and the dynamics of their revolution from the very beginning of it - four years ago. We see euphoria, passion, compromises, frustration, hurt feelings and broken hearts. It is the anatomy of one revolution.

Triinu Taul was born in Mulgimaa, Southern Estonia. She is a very versatile Estonian musician and songwriter who plays different folk instruments and uses various interesting musical voice techniques. Taul will play the Estonian bagpipes, Jew’s harp, and Scandinavian overtone flute, with accompaniment by Estonian musicians Peeter Rebane, guitar; Henno Kelp, bassist; and Roland Puusepp, drums.

Mõisapreili peidab eestlasest mässajat (Tambet Tuisk) – alguses uudishimust ja siis trotsist, andes tõuke pidurdamatule ahelreaktsioonile. 3 PM THOMAS PALM, Ph.D. Estonia: a personal historic[/b] overview: Why does a choir of 25,000 people sing about insects? The role of location in national history -- 700 years of occupation? The beginnings of Estonian identity and nationalism: the role of choral music, and more. In English. Illustrated by many unique historic photos.
Dr. Toomas Palm is a retired professor of economics from Portland, Oregon, where he taught at Portland State University for over thirty years. He was born in Tallinn, Estonia, but spent much of World War II in Germany.
After some years in refuge camps there, he and his mother immigrated to the United States in l949, where he completed his education. He won an all expenses-paid scholarship to the University of Colorado, where he got his batchelor's degree in economics, and an NDEA fellowship to the University of Michigan, which is his alma mater for the master's and Ph. D. degrees, also in economics.
Because he had retained fluency in the Estonian language, and of his expertise in economics, he was a much sought after lecturer and consultant for Estonian universities, businesses and government in the crucial late 80's and early 90's. He has made over 20 professional visits to the country. He was consulting with the Estonian government during the restoration of independence. The slides that we will be seeing were mostly made by him during these visits.

Dokfilm "ROOTS, SADA AASTAT SÕDA JA MUUSIKAT" (EstDocs 2011 publikupreemia)Dirigent ja helilooja Olav Roots (1910 Tartumaa, Uderna – 1974 Bogotá, Colombia) sai 1939.a. Raadio Ringhäälingu Orkestri peadirigendiks. 1944 põgenes ta Läände ning 1952 kutsuti ta juhatama Colombia uut riiklikku sümfooniaorkestrit. Oma viimased 22 aastat elas Roots Colombias, saavutades seal suure tunnustuse riigi muusikakultuuri edendajana.
Filmis otsivad oma juuri Olav Rootsi pojapojad Julian ja Nicholas Roots Miamist, kes pole kunagi kohanud oma vanaisa, ega ka varem näinud seda maad, mis ta saatuse määras – Eestit.
