President Obama will participate in a Summit with the leaders of the European Union in Lisbon, Portugal, on November 20, 2010.

Our economic relationship is vital to global prosperity, and we are committed to cooperating to promote strong and sustained growth in our economies. Here in Estonia, our commitment to cooperation with Europe is realized through a broad range of joint ventures, both as NATO allies and as partners in securing world peace and economic and social progress. Over the past several months, Ambassador Polt has met in Tallinn and throughout Estonia - from Narva to Saaremaa, from Tartu to Hiiumaa -with government and civic leaders , and with entrepreneurs, NGOs, and the academic and artistic community. The aim has been to explore how best to advance further the already active relationship between our two countries.
