Observers Satisfied with Elections, Some Shortcomings

Voting was conducted correctly and fairly, according to 28 international observers, who assessed the situation in 135 polling stations across Estonia.

In general, voting was well-organized and voter understanding of procedures was good, as noted by all the teams in the mission. Despite minimal procedural mistakes, the elections were in accordance with both the international and national standards. However, the observers noticed several instances where ballot-counting protocol was not followed.
