Olja Müller’s latest art exhibition “CONTOURS ”, held in Sunderland Hall, First Unitarian Congregation of Toronto, 175 St. Clair Ave. West, displays eighteen art works depicting contours in nature as well as figurative works using a variety of media.

Her earlier exhibitions have shown her more traditional watercolours. However since 2001 and currently, her artistic passion, also reflected in this show, is the depiction of the ever changing shorelines of rivers and lakes with their tree roots, embarkments and eroding slopes, and the human form in all its shapes and movements. Olja feels that these roots and stumps along the shorelines symbolize the hidden parts of us all and represent the torturous, random and chaotic life that we humans lead.

A former President of the Toronto Watercolour Society and a Signature Member, Olja has participated in numerous group exhibitions and has had several solo exhibitions.

The current exhibition runs until October 30th and is open Sundays from 12.30 to 2.00 p.m.
