The Estonian Community had a golden opportunity to redo the EH, but instead voted to sell it. Now a developer will reap all the rewards. If the 3 Orgs were so interested in providing a new community centre, then why is 11 Madison being fixed first? I just found out that the Annex residents knew about this project 2 years ago and they were told it was to be a museum and art gallery. Nothing but smoke and mirrors.

As Chris Williams noted in the interview, Jilly’s is now the renovated Broadview Hotel. According to Williams, the renovated building was built in the same year as the Chester Hill School House. The poor condition of the building and vision to renew precipitated the reno.
