Members of the Ottawa Baltic community gathered at the Human Rights Memorial in the nation's capital on the day of mourning, June 14th, to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the wide-scale Soviet deportations from the Baltic countries that began on that date in 1941. Rev. Maris Kirsons guided the assembled through the remembrance.
