Medieval Love

City where I born, played important role
In my childhood good and cool soul.
I had few toys: only one pretty doll
My twin sister, she was best of all.

We played together often outside
Our famous game was seek and hide.
We shared bicycle on long ride
Turning quickly wheels so wide.

Driven by streetcar named electric troll
We reached a tower Hermann Tall.
Blue-black-white flag on top of the pole
Everywhere leaves on great charming fall.

Magnificent city, gorgeous ancient wall
Six hundred years old important Town Hall.
Towers, towers no glamorous mall
Old buildings now for concert and charity ball.

The city was Kolõvan first time call
By Danish, Swedish, Russian rules control.
Nordic nation of 1.4 million is small
Estonia lies in Northern Europe as pearl .

Sailing away from medieval town
I see Tallinn as a fairy tale crown.
Romantic, attractive and best known
Don’t let tears from cheeks run down.
