Paet to Meet with Pope Benedictus XVI and Vatican Foreign Minister

From 14-15 December, Foreign Minister Urmas Paet will be on a visit to the Vatican. Today Paet has a meeting with Secretary for Relations with States, or foreign minister, of the Vatican Dominique Mambert. They will discuss Estonia-Vatican bilateral relations. They will also discuss Estonia’s accession to the euro zone and the economic and financial crisis. Possibilities related to Estonia’s giving of humanitarian aid and developments in the environmental sector will also be addressed. Tomorrow Paet will meet with Pope Benedictus XVI.
