A recently released book by Daniel Estulin, The True Story of the Bilderberg Group (Independent Publishers Group, Chicago, 2007), advertises on its cover that it is an international bestseller, and has been translated into 24 languages. If that is true, then it shows that many people around the globe want to peek at the European and North American ‘behind the scenes elite’ who dominate international economics, politics and media. It is interesting, that in the North American mainstream media, little has been heard of or written about these ‘Masters of the Universe’, who are pursuing their anti-Christian, anti-nationalist, anti-family, anti-individual global agenda.

Estulin, who has researched Bilderbergers for over 15 years, has put together an informative and revealing book. His book contains 25 essays dealing with specific events, influences and personal experiences. On some topics he draws from other authors, such as using John Coleman’s research in ‘Conspirators Hierarchy’ to detail why Italian Prime Minister Aldo Moro was assassinated in 1978. Coleman’s identification of Henry Kissinger as an accomplice in the assassination plot (Moro’s policies were too nationalistic, p 51) is truly shocking. What is even more shocking, is that after this news was released in Europe in 1982, it did not get any media exposure in the USA!

He relies on Anthony Sutton’s ‘Wall Street and the Bolshevik Revolution’ to show how American bankers financed the Russian Revolution and subsequent Soviet economic development.

Bilderberger annual meetings (founded 1954) are where the earth’s wealthiest, most influential, unelected powerbrokers Rothschild, Rockefeller, Morgan, Kissinger, Brzezinski, Murdoch etc., select their political minions, (i.e. Trudeau, Carter, Clinton, Blair, Bush, Harper, Brown, Clinton, among others) to carry out their vision and policies. From its inception there has been virtually no information about these meetings available in the mainstream media, even though The Economist, NY Times, Washington Post, and other media representatives have attended. However, at the 2006 Ottawa meeting hosted by Canada’s Prime Minister Harper, the Ottawa Citizen provided front-page coverage, something that surely displeased the elite. Estulin looks at why the North American media protects this unelected elite in this manner (Journalistic Courtesans?).

Estulin also takes a close look at the power wielded by organizations created and populated by these powerbrokers. Their US Council of Foreign Relations (CFR established 1921) and Trilateral Commission (TC established in 1972 by David Rockefeller) are two influential organizations whose selected members are either in power or are major influencers in every western democracy. Estulin’s book documents how they manifest their power. For example all the US presidents between 1928 -1972 were members of CFR, with more recent members being Bush (41), Clinton, Cheney, and Rice. The Trilateral Commission, (international version of CFR), 2006 member list of 250, includes current Estonian President Ilves, executive member prior to becoming president, (p 271), and Harri Tiido, Head of Estonia’s Mission to NATO, (p275).

Often individuals, who do not accept the official versions of history as the absolute truth, are told that they have ‘a conspiratorial view of history’. The writings of Daniel Estulin, along with the works of others such as Alex Jones, (who produced an overlapping video called Endgame), are starting to penetrate mainstream thinking, providing information through the internet, that government officials are loathe to challenge. Reflecting Mahatma Gandhi’s famous saying, "First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win", the works of Estulin and others are moving the opponents of truth from ridicule to fight. This while the mainstream media is still trying to ignore them.

Many prefer to ignore the fact that the financial elite run our planet; others say accept it, and play along. Either way, it is depressing when you look at the agenda that these elites want to carry through. Daniel Estulin highlights many important topics in his very accessible book, which, if it also becomes a best seller in North America, will prompt many of its readers to ask even more questions about world issues and history.

A group of old, rich, white men rule the world with little or no oversight. Shocking!

It is not run "secretly". The author doesn't say that. It is run from "behind the scenes". Read the article again.
