President Ilves Visits The United States

Estonian President Ilves is currently in the United States on a week-long working visit focused on cyber security and the current state and future of trans-Atlantic relations. Included in the visit will be a number of meetings with senior U.S. officials, including White House Cyber Security Coordinator Howard Schmidt and Alec Ross, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s advisor on matters of information technology.

President Ilves will deliver remarks ata round table on strategic cyber issues in the State Department and an event on e-Governance and cyber security at Washington’s Center for Strategic and International Studies. Among other events, he will also attend a dinner held in honor of Henry Kissinger and meet with leading Estonian entrepreneurs in the United States.
