The parties will discuss the provision of assistance to the Ukrainian Army and civilians, as well as the investigation of war crimes in order to hold the perpetrators accountable.
President Karis will return to Estonia on Thursday.
Russia's aggression against Ukraine has provoked a united response from the European Union, which has imposed tough sanctions on Russia, provided substantial political, economic, financial, and military support to Ukraine, and hosted millions of Ukrainians fleeing the war.
The visit was also announced by Lithuanian president Gitanas Nauseda on Twitter.
"Heading to Kyiv with a strong message of political support and military assistance. Lithuania will continue backing Ukraine's fight for its sovereignty and freedom. Together to victory!” the statement reads.
