Pro-independence Chechens had a rare opportunity on November 15th to rally support for their cause in the European Union. Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) representing countries surrounding the Baltic Sea received Akhyad Idigov in Strasbourg. Idigov is the head of the foreign relations committee of what the European Union considers to be the last freely elected Chechen parliament. Idigov said he was received sympathetically in Strasbourg. MEP Tunne Kelam, instrumental in organizing Idigov's visit said deputies supportive of the Chechen independence movement will attempt to formally raise the issue in the European Parliament.

democracy by itself would not prevent the mutilation of young women in africa ... unfortunately today, democracy's prime goal is to foster nations becoming part of a one world economic government via "free trade" for the well being of the cartel capitalism of the banks, governments and favoured corporations .... in a true democracy, would us citizens/taxpayers have supported going to $8 trillion debt ? ... when that piper comes calling, democracy may be a harsh taskmaster

Peeter, esimest korda olen Su kommentaariga 100% nõus. Eesti ei peaks ennast kuidagi siduma islami ekstermistidega. Sulle parimat soovides, Nokk
