A team of Estonian cross-country drivers, on a 200,000 kilometre, 60 country, round-the-world trip will arrive at Estonian House in Toronto on Friday. Known as the "Rolling Estonians" they launched their adventure June 22nd and have passed through Eastern Europe, Northern Africa, England and are on their way here from Halifax.
Led by Raido Rüütel, a former motor sport champion, the "Rolling Estonians" will use substitute teams as assistants, many of whom are well known public figures in Estonia. They have and will pass through dangerous areas of the world, not knowing what confronts them around the bend for the 18 months that they are on the road.
We hereby extend an invitation to attend a reception for the "Rolling Estonians" to be held at Estonian House, 958 Broadview Avenue, 6:00 pm, Friday, November 22.
