In 2011, sales revenue of Saku Õlletehas totalled 57.5 million euros and net profit 3.8 million euros, it appears from the annual report.
The biggest export markets for Saku Õlletehas in 2012 were Finland, Poland, the other Baltic countries, and Denmark. Revenue from beverage sales in Estonia stayed close to the level of 2011, being nevertheless in a slightly upward trend despite the contraction in the size of the beer market, the company said.
Total output volume during the year was close to 80 million liters, second only to the all-time high posted in the economic boom year of 2006.
"Despite the relatively successful year we are still living in an economic environment where certainty and stability are rather an exception than rule. The keywords for 2013 will be moderate uncertainty among consumers, price increases for raw materials on global markets, as well as changes in the domestic alcohol policy," Saku Õlletehas CEO Margus Kastein said through spokespeople.
