In English, see belowEelmisel nädalalõpul, 14 - 16. oktoobril, toimus Seedrioru laste suvekodus (Eloras) kahepäevane sügislaager. Üle 10 noort ja 6 täiskasvanud nautisid ilusat ilma ja vägevaid puulehe värve. Lapsed said puud nikerdada, tegelda kunstiga, matkata metsas, käia saunas ja korjata õunu. Seedrioru maa-ala õunapuude saaki sai kasutada tortide tegemiseks ja pannkookidega söömiseks. Lastel oli tore nädalalõpp. Avaldame tänu meie vabatahtlikkude kasvajatele:
Kadri Munro (peakorraldaja);
Eric Tiisler (programm);
Krista Koger (kunst);
Linda Paluveer (peakokk); ja vabatahtlikud abilised -
Linda Sõber,
Tommy Tiisler,
Rein Tiisler,
Colin Sõber-Williams ja
Alan Luiker.
Seedrioru pere soovib toredat aasta lõppu! Uuel aastal on kavas valmistada teist märtsivaheaja laagrit.
Fall "Micro" camp at Seedrioru
On the weekend of October 14-16, the Seedrioru Estonian camp in Elora Ontario hosted another successful and fun “micro” fall camp to finish off a very productive year of development. With over 10 youth and 6 adults enjoying the fall colours and excellent weather, the children participated in wood carving, arts/crafts, hiking, sauna and especially apple picking! Some of the local “heritage” organic apple trees that dot the property were harvested of their fruit by the children. A few delicious apples went towards an Estonian style dessert that was served up as a night time snack and a few more were used for their pancakes the next morning. The children really enjoyed themselves along with our special volunteers
