"Laulev Revolutsioon" filmi etendus WaterloosEesti Selts Kitcheneris ja Princess kino korraldusel esitati Maureen ja James Tusty 2006 a. film "Laulev Revolutsioon". Filmietendus toimus pühapäeval, 23. oktoobril, Princess kinosaalis Waterloos (Ontario); eesmärgiks oli Eesti taasiseseisvuse 25. aastapäeva tähistamine. Rahva hulgas olid nii Eesti Seltsi liikmed, kui ka mitmed kanadalased. Enne etendust pidas avasõna Seltsi esinaine,
Linda Montgomery. Peale etenduse lõppu oli rahval võimalus esitada küsimusi Musta-Lindi päeva algatajale,
Markus Hess'ile. Ka oli võimalus nautida Seltsi poolt korradatud kringlit. Suur tänu Eesti Selts Kitcheneris, Princess kinole ja korraldajatele.
"Singing Revolution" film presentation in WaterlooOn Sunday, October 23, the Estonian Society of Kitchener and the Princess Cinema presented a screening of Maureen and James Tusty's 2006 film "The Singing Revolution" in the Princess Cinema in Waterloo. The presentation was held to help commemorate the 25th anniversary of the re-establishment on Estonian independence in 1991. The audience comprised both of members of the Kitchener Estonian community, as well as the Kitchener-Waterloo community at large. The screening of the film was held after a brief introduction by the Estonian Society's president,
Linda Montgomery. After the screening, a question-and-answer session was held with
Markus Hess, the founder of the Black Ribbon Day movement. The Estonian Society also provided complimentary (and very tasty) Estonian kringel in the cinema lobby. Many thanks to the Estonian Society of Kitchener, and the Princess Cinema for providing another opportunity to see this film on the big screen.
