ERR news Notorious spy Hermann Simm's head was not literally on the block, but now his possessions are.
Two pieces of real estate owned by Simm in Harju and Viljandi County will be auctioned off next month to pay his bills as the former defense ministry official serves his 12-year sentence for selling state and NATO secrets to Russian agents.
One of the items at the October 22 auction consists of 1.75 acres of residential land in the countryside outside Tallinn with an opening price of 19,170 euros.
