With the summer flight plan starting on March 28, Tallinn airport is opening up several destinations that were temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

At the end of March, Kiev (Wizz Air) and Berlin (airBaltic) will be added to the Tallinn Airport flight schedule.

In April, Milan Bergamo (Ryanair), Stockholm (airBaltic), Istanbul (Turkish Airlines), Malaga (airBaltic), Moscow (Aeroflot) and Lviv (Wizz Air) will be added to the flight schedule.

In May, flight schedules will be added to Brussels (airBaltic), London (easyJet), Paris (airBaltic), Vienna (Wizz Air; Ryanair), Oslo Sandefjord Torp (Wizz Air), Oslo (Norwegian), Athens (Aegean), Milan Malpensa (Wizz Air) , Kharkiv (Wizz Air), Berlin (Ryanair) and Dublin (Ryanair).

During the summer season, Ryanair's flight from Tallinn to London, airBaltic's flight to Vilnius and SAS's flight to Copenhagen will also be added, Tallinn Airport announced.

Starting from June 25, Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS), the largest Swiss airline, will start flights from Tallinn to Zurich.

In addition to the routes added to the summer flight schedule, Tallinn can be used for year-round flights to Amsterdam (airBaltic), Helsinki (Finnair), Warsaw (LOT), Frankfurt (Lufthansa), Riga (airBaltic), Copenhagen (airBaltic), London Gatwick (airBaltic), Oslo (airBaltic) , Minsk (Belavia), Stockholm (SAS), Kuressaare (NyxAir) and Kärdla (Transaviabaltika).

According to Eero Pärgmäe, the commercial manager of Tallinn Airport, the summer flight plan is thinner than before.

"Despite the fact that the epidemiological situation in Finland and elsewhere in Europe is not good at the moment and that the availability of vaccines is lower than expected, we continue to expect a gradual recovery of flights and passengers in the summer months. Today, airlines adjust their flight schedules weekly and as demand improves, they will respond accordingly, both by adding additional frequencies and by adding new destinations, "he said.

According to Pärgmäe, this is a currently known flight plan. "It is very likely that there will be more changes in the summer flight schedule. For those who want to travel in the summer, we recommend keeping an eye on the airlines' websites and, if necessary, ask your tour operator for advice when planning the trip," noted Pärgmäe.
