U.S. Embassy, Tallinn, March 13, 2012
Congratulations to the Tartu Centre for Creative Industries on the completion and ribbon cutting for its latest building in Tartu. Representatives from the Embassy Tallinn [were] on hand to join in today’s celebration.
The Centre, which was founded in 2009, provides creative industries related information and training, legal and economic consulting for creative entrepreneurs, as well as business incubation services. The Centre is now made up of three buildings offering low-budget office space for young cultural and creative entrepreneurs to incubate their business ideas as well as a large open-air park/picnic area with a concert stage and a sculpture garden. With the completion of the renovation to their third and final building, the Centre can provide space for up to 40 companies and can offer employment for up to 100 workers.
In a country known for generating innovative ideas, we are glad the Creative Industries Centre offers a place for those ideas to blossom.
