The latest note in the ongoing din of controversy surrounding the National Symphony Orchestra was sounded on November 22 when the Tax and Customs Board seized the institution's bank accounts over more than 95,000 euros in unpaid taxes.
The orchestra's newly-appointed acting director, Anneli Unt, told Delfi that she was in negotiations with tax authorities over the issue, and assured musicians that their salaries would be paid.
