Tõnu Onu, a well known member of the Ottawa Estonian Society and active cross country skiier participated in the Gatineau Loppet Keskinda16 kilometer Classique race held on February 19, 2011. He came first in his category (males aged 65 to 69) and won a gold medal. Here he is pictured with his coach Tenno Moenting who helped with the waxing of his skiies which was very tricky due to wildly fluctuating weather conditions.
