Tunnustatud klaveripedagoog Aino Waldini kodus kohtusid esmakordselt kaks tuleviku maailmakuulsust helilooja Riho Maimets ja dirigent Lucas Waldin, Aino Waldini pojapoeg. Seekord tegime juttu dirigeerimisest. Ees ootab kohtumine heliloojaga sisuks moodsast heliloomingust maailmas. Üllatuskülaliseks oli sopran Greesi Langovits Eestist. Uusaastatervitus tuleb aga kõikidelt osaliselt sellelt lühikohtumiselt.
Two potentially considerable influences on the global classical musical scene, who have already carved out remarkable early international reputations as young men, met at the Toronto home of notable piano pedagogue Aino Waldin. Conductor Lucas Waldin – Aino Waldin’s grandson - and composer Riho Maimets placed the focus of discussion on conducting. A meeting in the very near future with the composer, giving consideration to new music composition internationally, is in the works. A surprise guest present at the encounter was Estonian soprano Greesi Langovits. A New Year’s greeting from all!
