TORONTO, June 2 /CNW/ - The TTC will display a low-floor accessible bus
and a Wheel-Trans vehicle at People in Motion 2003, Canada's largest
Exhibition for people with Disabilities on June 6th and June 7th. TTC staff
along with members of the TTC's Advisory Committee on Accessible Transit
(ACAT) will be available to answer questions and provide information on both
the TTC conventional system and Wheel-Trans service.
The TTC will be one of the 120 exhibits at the 2003 People in Motion show
at The Queen Elizabeth Building, Exhibition Place.
"The People in Motion 2003 show is a tremendous opportunity for people
with disabilities to learn more about the conventional system, and what it has
to offer," said TTC Chair Howard Moscoe. "Our fleet of low floor buses and the
number of subway stations with elevators are continuing to grow. Visit the TTC
booth and speak to the TTC representatives to learn how you can use the TTC."
