Estonian Literature Centre (ELIC) presents short portrait films on Estonian authors as seen by their French translators and publishers. The films have been directed by Marianne Kõrver and produced by Ilvi Liive-Roosipuu. This week’s post features Jaan Kaplinski (22 January 1941–8 August 2021), a philosopher, essayist, and the most widely translated Estonian poet.
