Spring is ready to spring and the organizing committee of the upcoming MINIBASAAR is ready
to spring into action to help you, the readership of Eesti Elu and eesti.ca, to divest yourselves of
some of those unneeded, unnecessary, unused, superfluous household items that are cluttering up
your shelves, drawers and cupboards.
The AKEN recycling machine will be ready to receive the following types of reusable, in-good-
condition items at St Andrew’s Church, corner of Carlton and Jarvis Streets, on Wednesday
May 11th and Thursday May 12th from 1 pm to 8 pm:
• all kinds of kitchen wares
• glass, porcelain, crystal
• art, decorative items, collectables
• jewellery and accessories e.g. belts, ties, scarves, gloves, hats and so on
• children’s clothing
• all manner of Estonian paraphernalia for the ESTO Boutique
• brand new, unused items of any kind
• baked goods for the cafe
