Juhan Tere, Baltic Course In June 2010, 23% of newly registered unemployed persons were aged 16-24, writes LETA/Postimees Online. In May, 18% of the the newly registered unemployed persons were in that age group, reported the Unemployment Insurance Fund.
More than half of the young persons who registered as unemployed in June had basic education or vocational education based on basic school education. 22% of the young unemployed persons had comprehensive secondary education, 13% vocational secondary education and 10% higher education.
